If you have started to upgrade the RAM on your Netbook to 2GB then you've probably looked around the forum and found some reviews and read that you started, you now more confused than when.
You may have seen terms such as CL, 667 or 800 MHz non-ECC and you wonder what kind of memory you need. Now, all these figures are important, and only certain types are compatible with your netbook. The first thing you should know is that most modern netbooks (good 95% of them, including Asus, Acer, etc.), use the Atom processor, a front-side bus of 667 MHz (for the N280, has the 'N270 is 533MHz). Step 4: Press the two metal brackets removed from the Memory Stick

Step 5:Remove the key from 1 GB and 2 GB of RAM to replace it with sticks. Make sure the pins (it is cut in one direction). The Crucial sticker on the bottom.
Step 6: Push-RAM Click to metal clip, cover, reinsert the battery and the computer to start. If you use XP, then it will automatically recognize the RAM and no further action required.
Step 7: Once the computer starts to hit safely (Windows key + Pause) to the Properties box and set systemthat the new memory is recognized.
If you're ready, if not, you need to restart, while pressing the F8 key to enter the BIOS, RAM, and then select the new menu to recognize the computer. Enjoy.
